Alexander Hsu is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biological Sciences, mentored by Dr. Eric Yttri. He has a profound interest in using machine learning and artificial intelligence to advance the field’s understanding of neural correlates in naturalistic movements.
He obtained his M.S. in Anatomy and Neurobiology at Boston University in 2016 and has had industry experience at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center prior to joining Carnegie Mellon University. He is also an avid marathon runner and hoop fan.
