Resource for Developmental Regulatory Genomics (RDRG)

Who we are and what we do:

We are a National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded center devoted to the development and dissemination of resources that support scientific research related to the genomic control of embryonic development. Our personnel and facilities are located in the Department of Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University and the Department of Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh.

The RDRG supports the scientific community by developing and distributing research resources of four kinds:

  1. BAC resources for GRN biology
  2. Genomic feature datasets for analysis of regulatory DNA elements
  3. NanoString resources for quantitative analysis of gene expression
  4. Photoactivatable morpholinos for conditional gene silencing
